Applications are now open for the Czech Republic Government Scholarships 2026, offering fully funded opportunities for students from selected developing countries to study Master’s or PhD programs at top Czech public universities. This is an incredible chance to study in one of the most beautiful and affordable countries in Europe.
Over 20,000 foreign students have completed their studies in the Czech Republic under this prestigious scholarship scheme since the 1950s.

🧑🎓 Eligible Fields of Study
Applicants can apply in selected academic fields, including:
- Economy and Business
- Law and Administration
- Engineering, ICT, and Manufacturing
- Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences
- Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics
- Security Services and Health-Related Fields
💰 What the Scholarship Covers
This is a fully funded scholarship, and it includes:
- Full tuition coverage at public universities
- Monthly stipend:
- CZK 16,000 for Master’s students
- CZK 17,000 for PhD students
- Accommodation and meals (covered via stipend)
- Access to public transport within the Czech Republic
- Optional 1-year Czech language preparation course
Note: Travel expenses are not covered. These must be managed by the applicant or nominating institution.
🌍 Eligible Countries
Only applicants from the following countries may apply:
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus (democratic forces), Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Zambia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Guatemala, Jordan
Citizens from other countries, including EU nations and the Czech Republic, are not eligible.

- Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applicants
- Both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees for PhD applicants
- Strong academic performance and intent to return to home country
